Who we are

Reckap Solutions LLC ("Reckap," "we," "us") is a US IT company based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. For this Privacy Policy, Reckap is the controller of personal information we collect through our marketing website, free browser tools on reckap.com, the CareDue mobile app, and business communications.

Scope

This policy covers reckap.com and related Reckap pages, embedded browser tools, CareDue on Google Play, contact and intake forms, Calendly scheduling links we publish, and email we exchange about projects.

It does not control third-party sites we link to (for example Calendly's own booking UI, social networks, or Google Play). Those services have their own privacy notices.

When we deliver custom software under a statement of work (SOW), customer systems and customer content are governed by that engagement and any data processing terms in the contract - not by this website notice alone.

Key definitions

• Personal information means information that identifies or relates to an identifiable person.
• Services means our website, browser tools, CareDue, and related communications.
• Customer content means data you or your organization put into a product or system we build or host for you under contract.
• Usage data means technical logs and analytics about how the Services are used.

Information you provide

Depending on how you interact with us, you may provide:

• Name, work email, company, role, phone, and project details via contact or intake forms (processed with Formspree).
• Scheduling details when you book time through Calendly.
• Email content and attachments when you write privacy@reckap.com.
• CareDue in-app information you choose to store in the app (maintenance logs and related fields stay on your device for the offline-first features described on the product page).
• Job application materials if you apply through a careers posting.

Information collected automatically

When you visit reckap.com we and our processors may collect IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type, pages viewed, referrer, timestamps, and basic diagnostics needed to run and secure the site.

We use Vercel Analytics for privacy-oriented traffic measurement on the website. We also use Microsoft Clarity for heatmaps and session recordings to understand how people use pages (masked where appropriate in Clarity settings). Server and edge logs from our hosting provider may retain short-lived request metadata for security and reliability.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are:

• Strictly necessary - session, security, and preference storage required to operate the site.
• Analytics - Vercel Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (and related measurement) that help us understand aggregate usage and page interaction.

We do not currently run separate advertising pixels or sell personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Clearing cookies may reset preferences.

How we use information

• Operate, secure, and improve the website and tools.
• Respond to inquiries, qualify projects, and schedule calls.
• Provide CareDue features as described in the product listing.
• Send service or transactional messages related to a request you made.
• Detect abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use.

We do not use client project data from contracted delivery work to train public foundation models.

How we share information

We share personal information with service providers who process it on our instructions, when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a corporate transaction. We do not sell personal information for money.

Under some US state laws, certain analytics cookies can be treated as a "sale" or "share." We do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide required choices.

Retention

We keep inquiry and sales records for as long as needed to respond and manage the relationship, typically up to 24 months after last contact unless a longer period is required for legal, tax, or security reasons.

Hosting and analytics logs are retained according to provider defaults and our operational needs, generally on shorter rolling windows.

CareDue offline logs remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app, subject to platform backups you control.

Security

We use HTTPS/TLS in transit, limit staff access to systems on a need-to-know basis, keep secrets out of client bundles, and rely on reputable cloud providers for infrastructure controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

International transfers

Reckap is a US company. Personal information is processed in the United States and may be processed by subprocessors in other countries where they operate. If you access the Services from outside the US, you understand that US law may apply to that processing.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe path when we send them.

To make a request, email privacy@reckap.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.

California / US state privacy notice (summary). We collect identifiers (such as name, email, IP), commercial information related to inquiries, internet/activity data (site usage), and professional information you provide. Sources include you, your devices, and processors listed above. We use this information for the business purposes described in this policy. We do not sell personal information for money and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly defined. We do not knowingly process sensitive personal information for inferring characteristics beyond what you choose to send in a project inquiry.

Children

The Services are directed to businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

Product-specific notes

Browser tools on reckap.com. Embedded products in the File tools and Business tools categories (for example Merge PDF, Split PDF, Images to PDF, Image Converter, Image Compressor, Excel Merger, TCO Calculator, AmazonScale Pro, UTM Builder, JSON Formatter, Margin and Markup Calculator, Commission Split, Billable Hours, and Service Quote Estimator) are designed to run in your browser. Files and figures you enter for those tools are processed on your device and are not uploaded to Reckap servers for the tool job, unless a specific tool page states otherwise.

Calculators and estimators produce planning figures only. They are not legal, financial, tax, brokerage, or medical advice.

AmazonScale Pro models Amazon operations cost scenarios in the browser. It is built with eCom Gliders for product collaboration as described on the product page. Reckap does not receive your scenario inputs for that tool job. Contact links on the page go to the partners you choose.

CareDue is an Android app on Google Play. Maintenance logs stay on your device for offline use. The free build may show ads via Google AdMob. CSV export is included. PDF export is an optional in-app purchase. The CareDue marketing page on reckap.com is product information and a Play Store link only. It is not a browser file uploader. Google Play and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC.

Custom delivery / dashboard work may use Supabase and other infrastructure named in the SOW. Customer content remains subject to the contract.

Site media and licenses

Marketing images and motion on reckap.com come from Reckap-owned assets, Unsplash License photography, LottieFiles Free catalog animations (with attribution on file), official trademark badges used under brand guidelines, or client/partner materials shown for portfolio purposes.

Those assets are not a personal-information collection channel. License and credit notes live in ATTRIBUTION files under /public (for example /blog, /services, /products, /hero-anim). See also Terms of Use for intellectual property and takedown requests.

Changes

We may update this policy when our practices or vendors change. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Material updates may also be called out on this page or by email when appropriate.
