Do my PDFs upload to Reckap?

No. Merge runs in your browser with pdf-lib. Reckap does not receive the files for this tool.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Not in this tool. Remove the password with a desktop PDF app first, then add the unlocked file. We refuse encrypted PDFs instead of guessing passwords.

How do page ranges work?

Leave the field as all to include every page, or enter ranges like 1-3,5,8-10. Numbers are 1-based and must stay within the file page count.

Default catalog limits are 20 files and 25 MB per file, plus session total size and page caps so large batches do not freeze the tab. Exact caps are shown in the tool UI.

Is this the same as iLovePDF or Smallpdf?

Those products often process files on their servers. Reckap Merge PDF keeps processing on your device. We do not offer OCR, unlock, or PDF-to-Office conversion in this tool.

Merge two or more PDFs into one file on your device with Reckap Merge PDF. Drag files to set order, include only the pages you need (for example 1-3,5), rotate pages 90/180/270 degrees, name the output, and download. Processing uses pdf-lib in the browser. Files are not uploaded to Reckap servers. Password-protected PDFs are refused until you remove the password locally.
