Do my spreadsheets upload to Reckap?

No. Merge runs in your browser with SheetJS. Reckap does not receive the files for this tool.

Which formats are supported?

Inputs: XLSX, XLS, XLSM (cell values only), CSV, TSV, ODS. Outputs: XLSX, ODS, CSV, TSV, HTML, Markdown. CSV/TSV/HTML/MD export the first sheet when preserve-sheets produced multiple sheets.

What does join on key do?

It builds an outer join across selected sheets using a column name you provide (for example id). Rows with the same key are combined; unmatched keys are kept.

Are Excel macros preserved?

No. XLSM is read as data only. Macros are not executed or written back. Prefer XLSX when you only need values.

How is this different from mergeexcelfilesonline?

Many online mergers upload files to a server. Reckap Excel Merger keeps processing on your device and documents format limits honestly.
